| • Avoid IC/OOC Drama. We know it happens, and sometimes it's difficult to stray away from it when you become emotionally attached to your characters, but please try to remember that just because someone's character might be rude to yours? It does not mean that the player behaves in the same manner. If something happens OOCly between you and another player and you feel as if you cannot resolve it alone, please contact one of the moderators and we'll be happy to help you! We don't bite! • Activity. The minimum will be at least two journal entries per month, but we would love to see more. How else will a game thrive and grow? • The Twilight Series. In order to play at Moonless Night, you will have had to have read all four of the books in Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series. • Mature Content. It is highly likely that Moonless Night will have violence, sex, among other things. No, we won't let it get out of control, but please be aware that these elements will probably be in the game. We are not inflicting an age requirement upon anyone because let's face it, if you want to play in a game badly enough? You'll just lie about your age anyways so there's really no point! Can't say that we didn't warn you at least, right? • Threads. Please use some sort of heading consisting of 'Who, What, Where, When, Rating, and Status' and place the body of the thread under a LJ-Cut. • Characters. The plot may be AU, but please keep your character as canon as possible. Jacob will not suddenly fall in love with Leah, and Jasper will not decide to divorce Alice and hit on Jessica Stanley. Don't try it. • Grammar/Spelling. Proper grammar and spelling is encouraged and expected. Spell-check can be your best friend! And if you use Firefox then you have a built-in spell-checker. How cool is that, right? This also means that you must stay away from chat/net speak. • Powerplaying. Would you like it if another player decided how your character would react to something? No? Good, then don't do it to them. |
