| • How do the journals work? • Simple! They function as any online journal system would, but it's not IJ or LJ or anything. It's just an online journal, and you can post on it from your computer or from your phone. Icons do not exist to your character as they are simply for our enjoyment. And please refrain from using smiley faces. It can get annoying! • Specifically, when does the plot end and pick up in New Moon? • The plot of the second book in the series is canon up until the point where Alice arrives at Bella's house after the cliff-diving. Alice will still spend the night there, and Edward will still go to Volterra, but Edward will be back the second night of Alice's return. • Do I have to use the actors in the movie as my played-by? • No, you do not, but we would be lying if we said that we didn't prefer it! If we do not feel that your played-by reflects the appropriate age then we have the right to decline your played-by and request that you find someone else. If you are stumped? Please do not hesitate to ask us for help! • Can I apply for an original character? • As of right now? No. There are plenty of canon characters, major and minor, that are available for play. If the game grows and we get pretty much every canon character cast? Then it is definitely a possibility! • Can I apply for Renesmee? • No. She does not exist yet. • I want to apply for Victoria. How close in contact with the mods will I need to be? • Very close! Victoria will be planning evil things, so we'll need to be talking to you pretty often as new plot things come to the forefront. Which also means that we'll be asking you for ideas, too! • Do all canon pairings have to be followed? • The main ones, yes, such as Edward and Bella, Alice and Jasper, Angela and Ben, Mike and Jessica, etc. etc. Other minor characters, such as humans we've only had mention of, no. Be inventive! • Does the game run in real time? • Yes, it certainly does! The only thing that is different is the year. It is 2005 in the game. EDIT: We have decided to have everyone in Bella's year a senior for this school year, and in order to make this coincide with birth years we've had to push the game from 2006 to 2005. In order to keep the timeline of events, everything from the first book would have happened in the 10th grade, which means she moved to Forks her sophomore year. • So where are the Cullens as of right now? • The Cullens are on their way back to Forks. Carlisle got wind of a few murders in Seattle, and since Alice has returned to Forks to check up on Bella and Edward is on his way to see that Bella is dead for himself, Carlisle has decided that they should return to check up on the recent murders to see if it is vampire-related or not. Of course once they find out that Bella is alive and that Edward wants to stay then they will not depart again. Presumably they were in Alaska with the Denalis. • What about school? • If you have a character that is in Bella's year then they will be starting their senior year come the fall. The reason for this is solely for plot and interaction purposes, and so the time line of the books will not match up exactly to the dates in the game. Instead of Bella arriving in her junior year of high school she'll have arrived in her sophomore year so that prom still happened, and then there was their junior year in which Edward and the rest of the Cullens left.
